 Lesson 1 (6th Years)
« Thread Started on Jan 3, 2006, 11:46am »

Romeo walked into the classroom, ready to teach another batch of students at West Coast Academy. He glanced at the clock, and noticed that they should be arriving any minute now from their previous class. He looked at the board, and quickly got out his wand. With a gentle movement, the words "The History of Arithmancy" appeared, followed by "Professor Notaro." Romeo then took a seat behind his desk, ready for the arrival of his pupils...

Eric walked into the classroom. "Hello Professor, nice day isn't it?" He said politely, before taking a seat near the window.

Norelle walked into class greeting the professor with a smile and the words, "Hi, good morning professor."

She headed to her favorite spot, near the window looking out. She loved to be in nature and it was such a fun place to be free.

Professor Notaro looked up from the papers on his desk with a smile. His first student had arrived, and he was sure that many would soon follow.

"Why thank you, it is a wonderful day. Hopefully the lesson will go according to plan. I would hate to see any misbehavior in my classroom." He gave the student a wink, making sure he caught the hint he had just gave. "So, I see you are a student of Cermenho. I myself was placed there when I attended this academy as a child. Any person placed there is destined to do a fine job in the future..."

Romeo then looked to the other student. "Welcome to Arithmancy. We shall begin once some other students have joined us..."

Sam walked into the classroom with her books under one arm. When she walked in she was surprised in seeing the professor, Eric, and Norelle a girl that she had seen in a few of her other classes. She sighed and took a seat sort of in the middle. Sam slouched slightly in her seat and waited for class to begin.

"Sam," Norelle said knowing almost everyone. "Hey, why you looking all sad?" She pulled out a sucker and unwrapped it.

As the last students filled into the classroom, the Professor shut the door with a small swish from his wand. He gave everyone a bright smile, hoping to make a good impression.

"Hello, and welcome to your first Arithmancy lesson! My name is Professor Notaro, and I shall be your instructor for this term. Before we begin, how about everyone tells a little about themselves? We will start with you Ms. Parslipnik, and you may then choose the next person to speak..."

Sam noticed that class had begun so she just sent Norelle a sort of 'I don't know...' look. She waitied for her introduction and put a slight smile upon her face.

Lauren cracked the door open and slipped inside. It had only been a week since they had come back from the Tri-Wizard Tournament and she was still slightly out of whack after making it through the Tournament and coming in second.

She grinned at the Professor. Ah, her Head of House. "Hello, Profeessor. Sorry I'm late." She took a seat in the front of the middle.
